The story itself revolves around the clichéd "END TIMES", but with a more personal angle, starting with the Rapture and its effect on the life of an imprisoned psychopath, amongst others... The genre is what has been called Future Noir (thanks Eddy for making that call).
Needless to say, the story has changed since 1992, but also the format has changed drastically.

Demithyst has gone from what was originally going to be a printed black and white graphic novel to a Flash, to 3D, back to a Flash based on hand drawn sketches.

In fact as close as I can get it to a movie, or series of movies, as possible, the better, however this is subject to available resources, as described elsewhere in this site.

At the time of writing this, parts 1 to 5 are published on Newgrounds.

I feel I need to state that this story was thought up before the Left Behind series was published, so it's not based on the books by Jenkins/LaHaye. It is, in fact, also much darker and altogether less spiritual than the Left Behind series.

Also, just to be clear, yes I have read all of the Left Behind books, and yes, I am a Christian, and no, I don't go to church.
